1. Who we are
Kin is a puzzle game for iOS and Android developed by Arman Matinyan (Snowblaze). This policy covers the Kin mobile app and this website.
2. Your game data
Your saved puzzles, moves, progress, theme, tile shape, and settings are stored locally on your device. Kin does not send this game data to a developer-operated server. You do not need to create an account or provide your name or email to play.
Your device’s operating system may include local app data in its backup services, according to your device and account settings.
3. Advertising and Google AdMob
The mobile app uses Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform to show ads and manage applicable consent choices. Ads may appear after completed puzzles. They are not shown during or at the end of the tutorial.
Google’s advertising services may collect or process:
- Your IP address and approximate location inferred from it.
- Device or advertising identifiers and, where applicable on Android, account-related identifiers.
- Ad views, taps, and other interactions with the app or its ads.
- Crash reports, performance information, and other diagnostic data.
- Consent choices needed to provide ads in accordance with your preferences.
This information may be used by Google and its advertising partners to deliver and measure ads, analyze service performance, prevent fraud, and maintain their services. Kin requests non-personalized ads; that does not mean ads collect no data. Advertising identifiers may be used for advertising measurement, subject to your consent and operating-system permissions.

4. Your choices
Where required, a consent message appears before advertising is initialized. If Google’s consent service requires a privacy-options entry, you can revisit your choices in Kin’s Settings → Ad privacy choices.
On iOS, you can manage tracking permission in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, your device’s privacy or advertising settings let you manage, reset, or delete your advertising ID. The exact options depend on your operating-system version.
You can play puzzles offline. Advertising requires a network connection and may be unavailable when you are offline.
5. This website and support
This website does not use advertising SDKs, analytics tools, or tracking cookies. The hosting provider may process standard connection information, such as IP addresses, requested pages, and browser details, to deliver and secure the website.
If you email us for support, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include. We use this information to respond to your request. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information when reporting a game issue.
6. Storage, retention, and deletion
Local game data remains on your device until you reset it or remove the app’s data. Settings → Reset progress removes saved puzzles and the solved-puzzle count; it does not reset all preferences or Google’s consent records. Uninstalling the app or clearing its app data removes local app storage, though operating-system backups may retain a copy.
Google controls the storage and retention of information handled by its services under its own policies. We do not have access to Google’s individual advertising profiles. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve your request and meet applicable obligations.
7. Children and privacy rights
Kin is a general-audience game and is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or withdraw consent. Contact us regarding information you have sent directly to us. For data controlled by Google, use Google’s privacy tools and the advertising choices described above.
8. Updates and contact
We may update this policy when Kin’s features or data practices change. The date at the top indicates the latest revision.
